Time for a freakin' update

Let's review:
I am now 31 weeks pregnant and am finally starting to "look" like I'm pregnant (before, I just looked fat...)
Her name will be Ruby Sofia! We are just starting to get ready for her, buying all the goods (again) since I didn't save any newborn clothes from Emerald and well, because we honestly thought baby #3 would be a few more years away.....so we have no baby supplies.

Emerald will be starting Kindergarten!! Can't wait! She LOVES pre-school and comes home wanting to work on her "homework". She takes ballet and tap right now and loves to sing and perform for us at home. :)

Charlie is 3 and a pain in the butt! Did you know that between the ages of 3 and 4, a little boy's testosterone level increases by 40%?? And I have definitely seen it in my little boy. He is all tough and aggressive and WIGGLY like no other. His hormones level should level out around age 4 (I am counting down the days).  Charlie goes to the same pre-school as Emerald (just in a different class). He really enjoys it and is learning so much more than anything I could ever teach him! And as an added bonus, it is a "Christian Preschool", so they teach all about Jesus and stuff (which means, one less thing for me to do! HA!).

Jacob is working like a mad dog...works overtime and is pulled from every direction since he is so darn good at what he does. Sometimes, it sucks to be smart. Just sayin'...I am grateful I've lost some brain cells with having children.

Now back to me. I am chugging along as I deal with my depression and anxiety. I go to a Therapist once a week and am still medicated for this illness. I've lost interest in pretty much everything that I used to like to do. I don't talk to people much and I have shut myself out from most of my close relationships. So sorry if you have been "cut off"....blame it on the depression. ;)

I thought I'd post some random pictures. I haven't organized my photos, so they are all in random order. But each picture is fairly recent...within the past year. :) Enjoy.

For those who don't have Facebook... or who I don't talk to on the phone...

Had an ultrasound yesterday (Friday) at the doctor's office. Baby had legs closed and hand over private area during the ultrasound. Doctor guessed that it was a girl because of how stubborn the baby was...but I refused to leave the doctor until I knew the sex. So we waited 1.5 hours in the waiting room till we could do another ultrasound and of course, baby was now sitting cross-legged so that nothing was exposed! Stubborn! No luck finding out that day what the sex was...so I found a place that does 3D/4D ultrasounds and we were lucky to get an appointment for that this morning! It was really neat seeing her face and body in a 4D video. She was cuddled up by the placenta the whole time, but we were able to get some good shots of her spreading her legs! :) It is definitely a GIRL and I couldn't be more excited!! Hopefully one day I will upload all the pics off my phone and post her 3D ultrasound ones.

Yipee!!

That's right...I make PEOPLE! We are expecting baby #3 in March!! So excited and praying really hard for a girl... hehehe. Ya know how people say they would "like" a girl (or boy), but they are really just "happy for a healthy baby"..well, I'm not gonna lie, I don't want a boy. I really just want a girl. lol. I grew up with enough boys in my house! Charlie is enough boy for us (even though he likes dress-up and loves to hug people). :)

I haven't been sick...yet...just anticipating it. Hopefully we can work things out with childcare and housework before they put me on bed rest (it's inevitable since my blood pressure is already high). This will be our last child (although my doctor said no more after Charlie...we knew there was one more ;)) and so we are savoring every moment. :)

Takin' a break

I decided to take a break from school (ends up that I had a year left...not 6 months). It's been two weeks of bliss since I finished my last class. No homework. No participation. No stress. Loads of people had been giving me advice to stay in school and finish it out. But let me tell you...it just isn't working out for our family. I work hard to get good grades and that hard work takes time. Hard work + time = good grades = tired mommy, messy house, and stress. On top of all that, I have a very time consuming calling in Young Women's. And we are trying to get pregnant with our 3rd (which is the main source of taking a break...).

We thought we could push through it if I graduated in December and was due in the Spring...but once I discovered that my graduation wouldn't be until May of 2012....I knew it would be too much. I've already had pretty high blood pressure and will need a stress-free environment during my 3rd pregnancy. With Emerald and Charlie, I had Toxemia (high blood pressure) with a few months of glorious (insert sarcasm) bed rest.

Life has been good since school is over. Basically I do whatever I want with the kids, whenever I want. That is what being a stay-at-home Mom is all about, right?

Introducing....Christa!!

The hamster. I can't believe I haven't blogged about her yet! We got her a few months ago from the Missionaries in our ward (they knew someone who was giving away a hamster for free). Although I still really, really want a nigerian dwarf pygmy goat, I guess a teeny hamster will have to do for now. Here are some pics of "Christa" (Emerald named her after one of her BFF's).

Emerald LOVES her new little friend and likes to take her out of her cage and let her explore/get lost all around the house.

Emerald drew a picture of Christa and "all of her little poops".
Christa's cage is stinky (it is a MUST to clean it every week), but we love her cute, teeny, fuzziness!

Less than 7 months!

Till I become this....

Although, depending on who you ask, I have already achieved this honor. :)

Following my graduation of my Bachelors in Psychology, it is off to more school work as I pursue my Master's Degree. Yay for school!

Time...

This is what I do all day, everyday. I even have the happy, corny smile.

But I also do this...So if it seems that I am lacking on my blog posts, I sincerely apologize. I don't know where all the other "blogging Mormon Mommies" find the time to do this crap like every day. It seems more daunting to me if I try to post pics and record ALL the stuff we do with our little family; we just do a lot of awesome stuff. Do you sense any sarcasm there? :) So let's do a toast to keeping things SIMPLE. Cheers! BOTTOMS UP! ;)
